You are viewing the new Bedford County Parks and Recreation website and we invite you to explore it and learn more about our Department and the benefits that you can experience by visiting a park, playing a sport, participating in a programming activity, taking a trip or enjoying some other leisure activity. The website will provide you with a variety of information. The site will be updated on a regular basis and a calendar listing events can be viewed.

The department office is located at 1257 County Farm Rd.  which is adjacent to Falling Creek Park. The facility is under going some renovations to better facilitate the staff and to provide space for a variety of programming opportunities including art classes and various exercise classes for all ages. There will be meeting space for your group and the department is coordinating with other organizations in order to provide space within the facility to serve as a resource center for senior adults.

BCPRD is striving to bring programming opportunities to your area of the county. Program sites include the Sedalia Center, Moneta Community Rooms, Community Rooms at the Montvale Library, the Forest Recreation Center in addition to the Parks & Recreation Community meeting rooms and other sites in and around Bedford town.

While you can learn much about us from the website, we want to hear from you with your comments and ideas for programs, events and ways that we can make your leisure experience a more rewarding one.
